BRANDING

Today, an artist's talent is still essential to launch and develop a career. But it is no longer enough to stand out from the competition, to seduce and retain the public. It is also important to have an artistic identity, a style in order to differentiate one artist from another.

The objective of this visual identity is to unite the public around a musical project. For the artist, the visual is really essential since we see it on stage, on the album covers, on the concert posters, etc.

Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, known as The Weeknd, born February 16, 1990 in Toronto, is a Canadian singer, songwriter and music producer. His inspirations come from Prince, Michael Jackson, Jim Carrey and the 80s. The last track on Dawn FM (his last album) sounds ominous and celestial, marking a transition to chimera, where we see the light at the end of the tunnel. The album will be in blue tones to symbolize the arrival of a healthier character, blurred effects and illusions to show his flight.

The Weeknd is now ready for his new life, an opening to heaven with a kind of "After Life". The light shines on the next album to show his path to redemption and heaven. Chimera marks the end of the artist's journey.
